It was the spring of 2022 when the Shénguān took his wife. Tianyin (天音) was a prophetess sought after by many mortals and deities alike. She was a radiant beauty, kissed by the sun god himself, with a mindful brilliance that knew no literary limits. Raziel never questioned why they took her. She epitomized perfection.Every day, Raziel begged the Shénguān to let him see her, or — at the very least — allow her to speak to him through divine messages. Every day, they declined… until the heavens exiled a god to the mortal realm.The exiled god was the sole fighter against the spirits of the underworld. This divine war between Heaven and Hell, it had been ongoing for centuries. The Shénguān came before Raziel. If he vowed to serve this god & help them remain hidden among the mortals, he would be permitted to meet with Tianyin. Without hesitation, he accepted.Hell found him soon after. Their offer? Sabotage the exiled god and the Shénguān’s plan. If Raziel could turn the tides in Hell’s favor, they could ascend him into godhood and, weakened by the defeat, take over the heavens. Together, he and his wife could rule as one.
